Details..

Hi,
But you made a change in the last update that makes it a little harder to use. In order to see the full posting, now you have to click on Detail, instead of clicking on the post title itself. Personally I preferred it the other way. I tried playing around with the settings, but it stays the same. Also, the post preview box insists on being long and thin now. I have tried turning on and off all the different options, but it always goes back to that. The problem with this, is it covers up part of the post title, including location and the details/map/drive to items. It can be re-sized but once moving the mouse over another item, it goes back. Before I could re-size it and move it anywhere on the screen and it stayed. Any chance of putting this back? Thanks,
PS: You have two preferences called: "Show detail on mouse over:" I'm using FF 3.5.5 with newest Greasemonkey addon. |

Thank you for the feedbacks. I have uploaded fixed code. Please use the preference to change settings as needed.

Wow, that was fast. Thank you! All three items are fixed. I have a feature request and have no idea how easy or hard it would be.
Come to think of it, anyway to split the auto layout into horizontal and vertical components. So, for example, someone like me using a small screen could set the horizontal size manually, but the vertical size would be dependent on the length of the post (automatic?) Just a thought. Thanks again for the FAST response and great script.

Thanks for the feedbacks. "Come to think of it, anyway to split the auto layout into horizontal and vertical components. So, for example, someone like me using a small screen could set the horizontal size manually, but the vertical size would be dependent on the length of the post (automatic?) Just a thought." It already allows you to resize the horizontal with auto layout. If it doesn't work, please let me know. For the timed out detail window, I will have to look into this further. |

Reading again, "the vertical size would be dependent on the length of the post", I'll see what I can do about this. Thanks. |
