Failed this wootoff

It happened because it was 1 crap for $3. When your script went to the buy page, it didn't get that only one crap was permitted, tried to want 3, and tried to order 3. Here's the relevant snippet on the left side of the order page:

Mine failed too. Someone should modify the script to jump on all new items. Then just cancel if it's not what you want. |

I can't find a way to get the site to not parse the HTML, I tried the pre and code tags. Here is the HTML:

It failed, but not due to the number. Woot automatically fixes that. The failure came from the fact that Woot has added a mandatory forward to their https://sslwww from the standard https://www for this wootoff... I've fixed it and pushed out an update. Hopefully we'll all get our Random Crap soon... ~md5sum~ |

Plus, the security code feature failed to work on mine as well. Anyone ever actually have success with one of these? Bummed. |

The security code feature didn't work because of the missing sslwww include. It's fixed now. The missing sslwww include made the script not eligible to function on the order page. ~md5sum~ |

When the BOC popped up, nothing seemed to happen for a few seconds, so I pressed the I Want One button. Did my action cancel this script? When I got to the buy page, my security code wasn't there. In the future should I avoid pressing the I Want One button? |

Will pressing the I Want One button cancel the script? |
![]() ![]() |
Not really, although in a way it will. Leaving the page will stop any running javascript. However, the script should be able to pick up where it left off and continue the order process for you. ~md5sum~ |

I wasn't at the computer when the BOC hit but when I came back to the computer the tabs I had open were trying going to "www.woot.comnull" - not sure where the 'null' at the end came from. |

I had the same result as wee_ag. Is that also due to Woot's new redirect? |

I'm not sure on the null thing... My Mac had that problem, but my PC did not. I'll be taking a little more of a look at the few issues there were and be sending out a new patch in the very near future. For now though, you can still enjoy the other features :-) And if anyone see something that isn't working, either during a WootOff, or at any time, feel free to drop me a line through the email feature of the site! ~md5sum~ |

Hi, Is your script supposed to go all the way thru and auto-buy the BOC? (2) woot-offs and it does the same thing.. hits the buy button, but doesn't hit the submit button. I guess if I was sitting here staring at WOOT for 48 hours, your script would be fine.. but if firefox is in the background or I step away, what good is the order page to me.. by the time I get back to it, it's sold out. |

It's been pointed out many times that I don't have the script finish the transaction, and the purpose behind this is to ensue that the script doesn't randomly and accidentally buy something you don't want. |
