Slightly Confused

I've been reading through the script but haven't quite been able to follow the source code, how does this exactly work? When a BOC appears, the script clicks I Want One and fills out the form. Does it then actually place the order or does it require user intervention? If it orders it and Woot decided to raise the cost of the BOC to $1000 would the order be processed? Thanks in advance! |

It does everything up to pushing the "buy it" button. So, the entire thing is, when a Random Crap appears, it clicks I want one. If the "Want 3" button is available, it will click it, and then it will fill in your card's CVV/security code, and continue processing the order. It will not click the "buy it" button though, so that you have a chance to review and make sure that the script didn't screw up (or woot didn't raise the price) before you finish the order. All you need to do to keep an eye on the script is watch the title bar (should be visible for windows users in the task bar). Hopefully that clears up all your questions! ~md5sum~ |

There are actually 2 user requried phases. the "This info is correct" button at the bottom of the credit card step, and the "Buy It" Button at the bottom of the confirmation page. It would be really cool if there was an option to have the script push these buttons as well.. That would allow me to have a semi-normal life during woot-off hours when I am supposed to be working rather than watching woot... 8-) |
