You cannot interact with the Farmville application using javascript, only the html container.

I know it seems silly, but I'd like to see hours to completion in addition to the time. To better choose additional crops to plant...

Version 1.33.12, now includes the time left to harvest information. Remember that this is actual time. If the calculator shows 1d:22h:00, you still have time to plant a 2 day crop. As farmville has a 23 hour day. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for the addition. Works great!

My next idea would be to allow for text entry until the crop name comes up. And the same for the percentage done. Just to be able to use the mouse less. :)

You can click on the first drop down, then start typing the word. Once highlighted press tab to hop to the next drop down. Type in the digits then hit return.

I think it would be cool to have a wither time as well.

This is an excellent script, Thanks.
Could you include some of the features from this calculator: http://farmville.99k.org ?
It has the much needed "wither time" calculation, plus a neat function that recommends what crops you should plant based on when you intend to be back at the computer

Is there any way to get it to 'float' on the left hand side? i.e. if I scroll down I can still see the calculator in the top left hand side of my screen. I have this stupid farmville "Become a dedicated Farmer! You're just 1 clicks away!" window which sits above my farm window and I have to scroll up and down to use the calc. (Any advice on getting rid of the silly farmville box would also be appreciated!). Thanks :)

Not so much an improvement because I love the script, but can you tell me how to put this script into am/pm format please?

TZim,

Step #1 - Download 2.19.0 :-)
Step #2 - Become a Fan of the script
Step #3 - Fill in a review to let us know what you think

Enjoy!

Clunkienz,

I have now, set the calculator to float down the left side. So if you scroll down the box will always be visible. Version 2.19.1, is what you need.

Let me know if that is what you were looking for.

Any way to make this hover on the RIGHT side of the window? Maybe add an option so the user can pick the side they want it on?

As is it blocks the left two FV menu items unless I widen my browser window a couple inches.

Options Panel

Needs to be a way to set options when not on a Farmville page. As is, changing any setting restarts the browser forcing me to wait until it reloads to change another option.

We should be able to open a panel of sorts, check options, save THEN have the page reload.

Check out how FVWM does it for an example on one option.

Yours could be much simpler with just a small letter/tag to click that would not increase the size of the current calculator frame.

I am looking at making the position of the calculator user definable.

The option menu is a quick and dirty. As you dont change things that often. I hoped it would be okay.

Besides the reload it has another issue. It stops the script working with Chrome. So I am looking at other ways of configuring the script.

Stay tuned :-)
