IMDB scores not showing

Nov 14, 2009 11:18pm Freyr Script's Author	Thanks for the hint. Didn't notice that. Apparently they changed the HTML structure a bit. The descriptions were not loading also. Fixed that now, but you have to clear the cache now to reload the missing ratings.

User	the div class changed for the rating information. infoProviders2.js needs to be updated. you can download, edit, and rehost the script. alternatively you could write a grease monkey script to patch another grease monkey script's resources :-p 'meta' needs to be changed to 'starbar-meta' on this line: `var match = text.match(/<div class=\"meta\">\s*?<b>([0-9\.]+)\/10<\/b>/);`

Jan 18, 2010 10:30am Freyr Script's Author	Probably you need to clear the cache (right-click on the greasemonkey icon, select userscript commands -> Newzbin - clear cache). Then reload the page. Let me know if it doesn't help.

Sep 25, 2010 11:35am Freyr Script's Author	I fixed the code again. It seems IMDB is showing the new site for some people, while others still get the old one. I updated the code to the new site, so if you're having problems with the new code, do the following: - clean your cookies from imdb.com - visit http://akas.imdb.com (apparently the start page triggers the switching to the new site) - you should see the new site layout now - clean the cache in the script (described above) Please support this work by donating or flattering. Things like that always take a lot of valuable time to fix.

Sep 28, 2010 11:52am Freyr Script's Author	I think I found a solution. I've pointed the script to http://labs.imdb.com. This one should always provide the new layout. But it doesn't work if you're logged in and chose the old layout in your site settings. So to make this script work, you either have to log out or you have to use the new layout.

Sep 29, 2010 10:04am max22 User	Yes it is possible. Go to https://secure.imdb.com/register-imdb/siteprefs and check off Show previous title and name page design (reference view) Is there anyway possible to get it to work with the old layout too without being logged out please ?

Sep 30, 2010 6:18am max22 User	Strangely enough the script works again! So good news! I use the old imdb layout too and I am logged in. Not sure what IMDB was doing but it didn't work the last couple of days.
