I made some more enhancements to your most recent update... http://pastebin.com/f195f7c3b

1) Used cdata and splitting techniques to allow easy editing of sites and fav icons; no commas or quotes, just a newline.
2) Threw away innerhtml, used real dom techniques.
3) Didn't automatically add the <link /> tag. If there was an existing one, edited that, if not, append a new one.
