I installed the script but no extra links started appearing anywhere... I'm also using a script that replaces the default YouTube player (see Flowtube), could this be the cause? Or is it Windows-only, as I saw some Windows-style configuration menus in the screenshots?

I don't know Flowtube.
My script directly gets an embed code from each watch page.
If your player can play swf files, you can probably use it.
If your player needs to replace a part of an embed code in order to work,it will not work with my script.
But it does not relate to download links and meta datas.
It relates only watching a video on my video panel.

I use only Windows to watch videos.
Although I have a linux PC installed Fedora, I'm using it as a file server.
So I don't know whether my script works on another OS like linux or Mac.
At least, my script requires Firefox 3.0 or later and latest Greasemonkey.
Then don't disable Javascript.

Please check the error console on your Firefox.
It might give an answer to you.

I don't know whether your trouble is solved, because you didn't write your environment.
Try new version if you don't use Firefox 3.0 or later.
This version works on Firefox 2.x of Fedora linux, though it has some problem.

I don't have to state my environment; userscripts.org does this for me right below my user name.

I found the problem is indeed that the script won't work if combined with other user scripts, not sure if this is fixed now since I haven't had the need to download any new videos yet.
