imdb dark blue redesign

I use the "imdb dark blue redesign" userscript, which I find much more visually appealing than the default design but unfortunately it makes using the IMDB Plot Summary Tooltip impossible to use, as the text is white, while the tooltip's background is light yellow, thus rendering the text invisible. I know I'm in the minority using both these scripts together, but if there's anything you can do to allow me to use this script alongside the dark blue redesign I'd be appreciative. |

I don't have an elegant solution for you. What you can do is though you can edit your copy of the script. Right click on the Greasemonkey icon in the status bar, right click on IMDB Plot Summary Tooltip (You might be asked to select an editor, please do so. Notepad is OK if you want). Go to line 72 change background:#ffffcc to background:#000000. This will change the box to black, which should work for your Style. You can experiment with different colors if you want |

Thanks for the reply. Coincidentally IMDB's just had a design tweak that isn't working well with darker blue redesign at all, so I'm going to try to see if I can live with the original design again (it's been a couple of years I hope I can get used to it). If I go blue again I'll tweak the script as you suggest. Thanks again. |
