Hi, I just installed the script and did the recommended steps: reloaded my mafia wars and chose the command "show invitables" in the greasemonkey menu. The problem is that I get the message "sry, no ids found".

Any ideas?

Zynga changed the inviting algorithm. I updated the script a second ago.
Install the newest script and follow the instructions on the "About" page.

Have fun and please tell me if it worked for you now.

Ah ok, I read the updated instructions now, saving the invite frame as a file on disk. But now when I access the file in Firefox with the script enabled, I have no options in the user script commands menu. The script appears to be active since the name of it is displayed when I right click greasemonkey (as opposed to other scripts that don't work on current page or aren't active)

ps: the commands are visible when on the actual mafia wars page. Could it be that the function GM_registerMenuCommand is not triggered for my file saved under "file:///C:/Users/Default/Desktop/invites.htm". I tried adding "file*" and "*" in the included pages, but no result.

The page pattern for your local file should be automatically included after the update:
file://*

Maybe a Browser-Restart could help or
1.) Deactivating the script
2.) Refreshing the local page (check available script commands)
3.) Activating the script and doing step (2) again

PS: Gotta eat something, i'll check your results in about 30 mins.

No specific script errors in the console, just a bunch of parsing errors from the stylesheets. Also a few errors from the javascripts included in the page such as:
Error: email_source.extend is not a function
Source File: file:///C:/Users/Rotsj/Desktop/render_fbml.php_files/a_data/82xjfqkx.js
Line: 9

But I doubt that has anything to do with the GM scripts not working?

I also moved the functions to the top but still no commands. I'm currently working on firefox 3.5.4, gonna update to 3.5.5 just in case. But I guess I have to keep digging a bit. Thanks for the help and tips so far at least. I assume it works for you, so could you tell me which versions of firefox and greasemonkey you have? Perhaps a compatibility issue...

Mozilla 3.5.5 for me (also tried with 3.5.4)
Greasemonkey 0.8.20090920.2

I update GreaseMonkey now and have a look if it's still working.

EDIT:
Got the same troubles with GreaseMonkey 0.8.200909*
I will check that and update the script.

EDIT2:
Seems like GreaseMonkey improved SecurityChecks and does not allow parsing of local files anymore...
I'll try to find a workaround.
