Just turn it off in your YouTube options.

Hi Joe

This is a great script but I'm still getting annotations on videos, even after disabling them in Youtube playback options. I don't get any annotations with greasemonkey disabled. Any ideas?

Thanks

anonations showing up for me as well - I have them off in youtube options still showing up - very very annoying - I love your script to death but will have to keep it off till this is fixed. Any update Joe?

I'm not sure why it's doing it, but have you tried unchecking the ad removal in the script options?

Thanks Joe, turning off ad removal worked for me - the annotations are gone.

Does this mean I will start seeing ads in youtube videos though? I don't think I've seen one before so I'm not sure what exactly to look for.

It might. It's just a temp fix until I find out the cause of the problem.

Hey Joe,
I can confirm turning off hide in video ads fixed the annonations problem. Of course I still have annonations disabled in my you tube settings. The disable in-video ads is one of my favorite features of your script. The problems is the annonations are more annoying than the ads themselves. Keep us posted on a fix if you would - maybe an in script option to disable annoations? and not just in youtube settings? I will keep my hide in video ads off for the mean time. Thanks again for the awesome script - looking forward to a fix soon.

So this is still an issue, yeah? I still get annotations unless I uncheck the hide ads script. I'm using the latest version but it's still a problem, eh?
