It would be easy to hide the "Sponsored" ads box the same way you hide the others. Presumably you have a reason for not doing that?

(I'm guessing you don't want to interfere with anything potentially revenue generating as this could generating bad feeling at facebook, perhaps limiting your future employment options! This would be perfectly reasonable; just curious.)

The main reason Facebook Fixer doesn't hide ads of any kind is because there are already several extensions that already block ads and typically do a better job than a greasemonkey script could do. And as far as I know, most of the non-Firefox browsers that this script can run in also provide addons or have built-in options for doing this also.

OK, thanks. Makes perfect sense. There are certainly plenty of other add blocking options out there that I can use.
