moving along slowly

Things are coming together with AJAX. Sending is fully developed and now I'm just working with the response I get from the server. I had a method down, but when I went to get autogifting working, it showed me one flaw that made me realize another. When sending the last one of a particular item, it doesn't show up in the response because you don't have anymore. Also, if you get an item in a response that you didn't have when you loaded the page, it doesn't have anywhere to put that inventory data. So that is 4 hours of work that is unusable, but at least I learned something. So I'm going to have to figure out how to reload the whole loot tables from the server response. This will solve both problems, and it may even get this working with large mafias. I'll put up a test script for those who have that problem to test. Fingers crossed. Time for a nap, maybe I'll dream the code I need. |
