Sort Instant Queue by Expiration date

It would be great if I could sort the Instant Watch queue by expiration date.

Hi Alan, You mean the "Sort by Availability" button on the Instant Queue (above the Notes column) does not work as you expect? Maarten |

Does the availability sort work if there's no dates in the notes column? I don't see that it's changing the order of any movies in my instant queue? |

Guess I found the answer
It'd be a nice feature. There's a ton of movies that expire Dec. 31 and Jan 1. It'd be nice to sort those to the top long before Netflix posts the date in the Notes field. |

Thanks, jobo1, I understand what you both mean now! The script currently just uses whatever is indicated in the Netflix queue itself. I could probably do this but it'll be slow (like sorting by time) as I'd have to get the availability for each movie one-by-one. Maybe the Netflix API lets me get this info; I'll have to take a look to see if that is possible. Thanks for the suggestion, I've put it on my to-do list for now. |

Sorting my Netflix streaming queue by expiration date is the sole reason I installed Netflix Queue Sorter and Greasemonkey in the first place, and I was sorely disappointed that it's the only thing I CAN'T do. Aaarrrggghhh! I don't care how slow it would be; I hope you'll get around to it soon. Thanks! |

Just installed v2.8 and still sorely miss the ability to sort by expiration date. It's the single most needed sort key imaginable! It would be worth whatever extra time it takes to run. Please, I'm begging you! |
