Stopped working for no apparent reason

Hi everyone. I just started using the script today and I loved it.
Any ideas as to what might be the problem are welcome. |

Yeah, it just suddenly stopped working for me a little bit ago as well. YouTube probably just changed something. |

They changed the flash variable scheme... I guess it's more organized now. I'll release an update soon. |

Thanks for the info and for the coming update. But It's just my luck that they go poking around the code just when I started using this great script :D |

yep, I can confirm it's stopped working for me too. |

thanks Avindra for the quick response! |

Sorry for the late update though, I tried consolidating fixes for other issues people had. For example, auto-update was broken all this time. Hopefully it works now :) I have to get those z-indices in order. It's a total mess right now. diff. |

Thanks for the update. I can gladly say that it works again :D |

sorry, but it still doesn't work for me. I've tried disabling all of my add-ons and uninstalling/reinstalling, but still the script doesn't execute at all. It's the only YouTube script I use so there shouldn't be any clashes there either. Thanks for your efforts though Avindra, is there any other troubleshooting I can try? |

I think it's broken again. Seems like they were changing code again =/ |

Yeah they changed variable names again. OCD bastards! Updated. "Deja vu. I saw a cat walk by, and then, another one, just like it."
|

hahaha. you rock Avindra. All working again :) |
![]() ![]() |
Yep working again. Thanks for saving us from those evil "code pokers" :D |

cheers mr. appreciated :D |

Hi Avindra. Since YT seems to like to change their code often, and cause scripts like yours to be rewritten, would it be possible for you to put in some code that will automatically check for an update? I've seen it used before in the GC Bag-o-tricks script.

it already has that, its the update link in the options box. |

Here are some suggestions/requests: I believe youtube built in their own dim lights feature (for some reason it only shows on some videos though) so I guess you can remove that from your script once it is working on all videos as your button doesn't work when the youtube one is present and it is silly having 2 light bulbs. Also, youtube now includes a button to shrink the player. It is 2 arrows facing each other. Your script breaks that button. Sometimes the video is too low quality to watch in the bigger window and I want to go back to the original size but can't because that button no longer works. Finally, youtube now has rounded edges on the video player which for some reason I kinda like. Your script replaces the rounded edges with the original box edges. Any way to add an option to use rounded or box edges? Thanks for all the hard work with this! |

It seems the script has stopped working again. I use Flashblock extension by the way, don't know if it made any differences. |

@XtremeRampage: Did you try my Flashblock page? @Others: I've only briefly read your suggestions, I'll take them in when I get more time. |
