News Feed Width

Facebook Fixer changes the width of the news feed, for my friend's statuses and whatnot. Is this something that can be toggled off? Or what setting in the code does it so I could disable it myself? I find that the 'Hide' button covers their status sometimes, making it hard.. or just awkward to read. |

simply move your cursor to the left of the screen and the hide button will disappear... |

Well, I could do that, I suppose. But most of the time I'm scrolling down and making use of the large picture feature of Facebook Fixer, so my cursor is in the feed. :) |

With a scroll wheel on my mouse scrolling is no problem, and what is a simple movement of your mouse? too much work?!! |

Hah, interesting. For forever I just assumed this was a Facebook bug and not related to Facebook Fixer in any way. |

When Facebook Fixer hides the left-hand column or right-hand column it has to resize the news feed. That resizing creates the possibility of the Hide button overlapping the other text. It's something I've been meaning to fix for a while now, hopefully I will soon. Until then you'll either have to live with it, or make sure there's always some content in both the left and right columns. |

I keep the left and right-hand columns in place but I move the Highlights down and hide the Connect with Friends. But the new facebook seems to have fixed this problem for me :) |
