security issues?

Oct 18, 2009 8:52am goom User	first off, i really like your script. i was reading the description and came across "I considered about security issues, and make this script work at only these 3 types of URL " what type of security issues could we have if we allowed this script to work on more sites? would it be dangerous? i'd like a more in-depth explanation, if you would. thanks! (would it be possible to allow this script to work on all sites, or would that not be recommended?)

Oct 18, 2009 9:53am setomits Script's Author	Hi goom, Some people don't like this script to access all shortened URLs on all pages which they are browsing. Then I set it some URLs to work, and they can change the URLs by themselves. In fact, I don't browse dangerous sites on which there might be some dangerous URLs and I don't feel so dangerous, then I set my script to run any sites. But it is my opinion, and you can choose your ways. Thank you for your comment, and good luck to you.

Nov 23, 2009 6:27am goom User	do you mean that the script has to gather information from the linked site itself? like if i posted a tinyurl'd malicious website, would it be dangerous to translate it? sorry, i didn't quite understand what you meant. thanks for the reply.
