I just uploaded a new version that sends requests to IMDb only once per second; the "too many requests" should be fixed now. Not hammering IMDb is a good idea in general, please upgrade. The new version also lets you click on the " ... " next to an actor to fetch the "where have I seen" information for just that actor.

I can't get the 'where have I seen' info. The ... next to the actor can't be clicked so I can't see it. The movies are highlighted in green on the actor's page, but I really got the script for the '...' part. Any chance of a fix (or possibly a solution as to mine just doesn't work)? :)

It works for me, and a few of my friends I got to test, so can you tell me what's going wrong? Look in the error console (Tools -> Error Console) (clear it before you reload the page) and see if you get any errors.

I get a bunch of errors, is there anything I should be looking for in particular? Thanks for getting back to me on this.

I just tried older versions and the August 28th one kind of works. When I clicked on Batman Begins it showed that Christian Bale was also in Dark Knight, but it showed it automatically and slowed my browser to a crawl while it found the data. It crashed my browser on a page with a lot of actors linked to shows/movies I'd favorited.

Well, I don't have any data to go on, so it's hard to figure out what's wrong. :-(

For starters: what version of Firefox do you use? What other extensions and Greasemonkey scripts do you have installed? Could you try disabling most of them and check if it works? (If so, we can figure out which one there is a conflict with.)

In the meantime, I'll figure out if changes at IMDb have affected the script.

I think I'm using v.3.0.15. I heard that some of the addons I use don't work right with the current version and I don't want to risk losing data.

I tried disabling all other scripts on IMDB, but it didn't fix te problem.

Sorry, as much as I'd like to help, there is simply insufficient information here to do anything. Please let me know if you figure something out. Thanks,

I just tried it on Firefox 3.0.15/16 yesterday, and I realized it uses some JavaScript features only available in Firefox 3.5 and later. Sorry about that,
