When I go to Youtube with your script running on Minefield (Firefox 3.7a1pre) on 64bit Windows 7 Pro (Core2Quad 2.4ghz, 8GB DDR2, GeForce 9800GT w/ 512MB, etc), the videos stutter and the browser is using a TON of CPU cycles and the browser is very laggy. If I disable the script and reload the same video, CPU usage is almost nothing. Any ideas?

Yeah, I've noticed stuttering recently, and youtube's player has changed slightly. Maybe a part of the script doesn't like the new player?

Videos resize fine though.

Can you guys give me a link that uses the new player? Aarrgh. I hate how YouTube slowly rolls out features to some people, (which never includes me), and then I have to wait until they release it entirely to work on it.

Was just watching this one, it uses the new player for me:

This video is not available in your country due to copyright restrictions.

Grrrr.... Do you have others? I can't seem to find the new player.

Not sure if it's a new player entirely or just a subtle tweak to the old one. This one does not display the hand/finger icon when you mouse over the player window. Also when moving the mouse along the timeline, the little time pointer doesn't come up.

However, the old player still appears in google chrome? Might just be a firefox issue.

I've gotten the new player... it plays nicer with the mouse, has debug info etc, but it is missing custom colors, and the time when you hover over the time bar.

Hopefully google fixes it into one big awesome-o package.

However: I'm not getting lagspikes and stuff (even on my piece-of-garbage old laptop).
