This script doesn't appear to work for favicons that are not held at http://[domain]/favicon.ico. Feel free to use http://getfavicon.appspot.com to load in the icons...

Thanks for the update, getFavicon works like a charm (I am looking forward to implementing it into my fav.icio.us script).
But could you please (maybe in future) handle the default favicon - which the service returns in case the target website doesn't have its own icon? It redirects here: http://getfavicon.appspot.com/default.gif
For those cases I guess that Google Reader's default icon looks better.

Yup, good suggestion on changing the default icon. I'll sort out a fix for that in the next few days.
