If your script is active - why not hide the default tooltip? Having it pop up just creates clutter and duplicate information.

For me (using Chromium) the Expander's tooltip is hidden under the default tooltip... so yeah, I'm in favor of either removing the default tooltip or moving the new tooltip somewhere else, like above the cursor instead of below.
