This brings up windows media player for me and then just lags and does not play but seems to be constantly loading. I have a current version of vlc on my comp. as well. I have the most recent version of firefox and downloaded the script on sat. Sep. 19th. Any idea? |

Have you tried playing the video with a different quality setting? Youtube is weird sometimes. Sometimes it just won't start streaming the high quality version of the video for me, and I get the same behavior that you get, and then on other days it works fine. My guess is that part of the problem is that it takes a little while for the script to execute. If Flash is installed on your system, it might actually request the video from Youtube before the Flash player is replaced by the script. When the embedded player then tries to play the same video (with the same quality that the Flash player requested), Youtube won't start streaming the video. I'm just guessing that this is what happens, and I don't know how to fix the problem. |

I tried changing VLCs file associations because I thought that might help and now get this error. "Runtime error! Program: J:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe R6034
The video eventually plays but with no play button or volume control or anything just plain video. |
