Blocking ads permanently?

Hey guys, this script is great, with manual blocking and all. I installed the extension on the latest chrome dev. build, but everytime I return to a site (which I had previously blocked ads) those ads appear again. Is there any way I can make adblock+ block it permanently? Or is installing the extension insufficient, and requires some tweaking with the code. Thanks! |

depends on the ads that you blocked. Most ads are dynamically generated... can you maybe give an example? |

Hi Afriend, Like for example the ads in youtube which appear at the top right hand corner, just above the description of the video. I press alt-B and click on the ads I want to block and then a popup shows asking if I want to block this element. I click "ok" and then another popup comes up asking if I would like to prevent this page from creating additional dialogues, I check the box and press ok again. The ads are all removed, but when the page is reloaded, the ads appear again. Thanks, |

Hi Sadded, yes, that's the damn dynamically generated Google Ads. I guess it's because the ad url is always changing after refreshing the page?! I read somewhere that we can use wildcards, like

Button "Block elements" always used wildcards for images and iframes. Use it. |
