slowing down

I have colour changer, purity, fixer, alter and extra links for Facebook.. When I turn off Alter, I don't have a problem any more. What is the problem ? Firefox slows down using 100% of processor power and everything stops in Firefox. For whole 4-5 seconds. It might just be Facebook error or something they changed, but I've had problems for 2 whole days and today when I turned Alter off, it's ok. What do you think of it ? fight between scripts or ? |

Wow you have quite a few scripts going there. Well the only speed bug I know of is when using facebook chat, sometimes it hangs up. My scripts runs when changes to the facebook DOM have been made. So if your other scripts are changing things this could cause Alter to run a number of times and lag a little. I would probably blame it on using multiple scripts but I can't be sure. |

It does seem to be multiple scripts problem. Probably they make each other go in circles. I'm not sure what to do, but it is very annoying. Alter seemed as the guilty one, but it is not so easy to say. Now, I'm sure that it is not only Alter's fault. When turned off, it is a little better, but far from normal. So, I'm searching on.. P.S. don't have chat (offline all the time). |

well the only thing I could think of is if these scripts run when any changes occur on facebook. So normally with one script it would run one time per change on the page. But if you have four script it could possibly run 4 times. Who knows. And if you make a lot of changes real fast, on a slower computer it could even slow up a bit with just one script, so i can image if there were many changes made quickly and all of the scripts ran multiple times, you might get hung up until their done. Anyways, good luck. |

I left only fixer and purity and it it one of them. It has nothing to do with slow computer as I have E6750 and 4 Gig's of RAM.. My computer is never slow :-))) also, if I don't move or do anything, it still happens.. so, it has to be something that scripts do periodically. It stops Firefox even if the Facebook is in another tab (like now, while writing this). So, thanks for talking with me and your script is very nice one. |

It is definitely this scripts fault.. Or combination of some scripts.. the bigger the news feed is, the bigger pause it makes.. |

I'm sorry about this, but like I said this script is not meant to be compatible with other scripts. As of right now, I do not have any time to try and make it work with other scripts. Sorry again. |
