Status on next update...

Vaughan, I was curious to know when you might be releasing the new updated version of this script. Any ideas as to when that might happen? |

It seems facebook has finally implemented full-sized images on hover...but they're doing it wrong. The picture appears directly over the target picture (centered under the cursor), making it difficult to hover over the next picture. Until they realize that your system of automatically choosing one side of the screen or the other to enlarge the picture, is there a way to turn off facebook's good-intentioned improvement?

Brandonbray, I disabled all scripts and extensions and did not get any enlarged images on hover. You should check your other enabled scripts and also check facebook fixer settings. And on another note, Not to be rude, but I think your comment is a little off-topic for this new thread. Please remove it. |

Hi Dink, I haven't really had a chance to do much with Facebook Fixer recently so it might be a little while before another release is made. The best estimate I can give (which I realize is not very helpful) is: if not by the end of the month, then some time in October. Of course Facebook is probably gonna make a big change soon and completely mess up by script forcing me to work on it. @Brandonbray, I have not noticed this either, or heard any mention of it online. If its not a feature from another script/extension then its something that Facebook is rolling out on an account-by-account basis and I can't do anything about it until I get updated. |

Thanks for the info, Vaughan.

I guess I brought this on myself... I said they would break my script and couldn't even wait 10 minutes before doing so. Anybody getting problems changing their status should disable keyboard shortcuts in Facebook Fixer's settings popup. |

I apologize Dink if I seemed off topic, but your topic title and first post merely asked when an updated script would be released. My question was in turn regarding the updated script, albeit a specific portion and not in general. @Vaughan, thanks for the reply. I discovered that another script had been updated and the author slipped in code for enlarging the pics, but did not tell anyone. And I was so hopeful for it to be a facebook update. :)

Vaughan, Can you do another update to address the fixed left menu?

I'm still not experiencing any problems with setting the filter list to be fixed. Are you sure you don't have any other scripts or extensions that may be causing the problem? |

I disabled everything except for fixer and it the filter list will not stay in a fixed position. I even disabled adblock plus (didn't think that would really have any effect). Please see the url below for a screenshot of my settings and to verify that I have only fixer enabled inside greasemonkey. |

Vaughan, If there is anything I can do to help you out with this please let me know.... The one new feature that I liked the most is the fixed filter list..... |
