What about adding fmt=34?

What about adding

// Allow overlapping html stuff on the flash player
player.setAttribute("wmode", "opaque");

Personally I wouldn't appreciate adding that snippet. I don't really see any purpose of it, and I find it to cause some problems when seeking and changing volume. At least in Firefox, when you drag the progress bar and release the mouse button outside the Flash it'll "stick" and follow the mouse around.

Could anyone reproduce that or am I the only one?

I'll add format 34 when YouTube stops continuously changing its code, forcing me to drop what I'm doing to code a fix ;-) . Besides, I don't know what's the rush with that format, it's a low quality one.

wmode=opaque might be added, but I have read it can bring other problems, so I'll try to find out if that's right before making that change to solve a relatively unimportant problem.

Actually, if you've been paying attention, I've found fmt=34 vids that are higher quality than fmt=18 (up to 480p at times!) without fmt=35 being present.

The problem is that when I last checked, there seemed to be no consistancy to the quality... sometimes it was only 240p, other times it was 360p or 480p O_o

Leopolly: I put some of the stuff I posted in discussions here into a script http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/57145. All tweaks are disabled by default; you can enable the wmode thing in the configuration menu.

There are plenty of reasons to not include those things in a widely-used script so it's probably better to just keep it separate.
