I realize this probably isn't supposed to work in Opera in the first place, but I thought I'd write to make sure. I have no idea if the in-video ads feature works (is there an example video to try?), but the auto-HD does. The big one though is that videos buffer AND play for some reason.

Probably because it uses GM_config which uses @require. I'll devise a way to make all the options true by default if you're on a different browser.

EDIT: Got it working in Opera. The options don't work as they're for Firefox only (because of the @require) but everything else works, the options are all on by default in Opera.

Joe you might want to look in to what I did in one of my scripts to let non-Firefox users change the settings without GM_config. Also you can use 'default': value to get rid of that error in Opera & WebKit without having to change GM_config code.

Thanks. So far, in tests on Windows with 10 final and 10.10 beta, the videos sometimes do start playing. I sense that there's some rhyme and reason to which videos do and which don't, but I haven't hit upon it yet.

Problem is, I'm not really familiar with Opera. I need someone to inform me what doesn't work in Opera that works in Firefox and vice versa.

You know how in FF when you first land on a Youtube video, FF will 1) Begin buffering, 2) Mute the sound, 3) Begin playing the first second or two but then immediately "rewind" to the beginning and pause, and 4) Unmute? In Opera, the video buffers and immediately autoplays. Early on, there might have been one or two instances where it did act correctly, but I haven't seen that happen now in weeks. I'm testing with the current version.

Ok thanks for the heads up I will test it in Opera and work on fixing it.

EDIT: Should be working in Opera and possibly Google Chrome (will check that later) in version 1.1.9 but please try it out.
