I'm helping beta test version 0.5 of sab and just wanted to let you know that the authentication piece on sabtab is not working with it. If I fire up sab 0.4.11 everything works fine. Using the same config file for both.

The error returned in sab is:

WARNING
Authentication missing, please enter username/password from Config->General into your 3rd party program

Note taken from the sabnzbd forum regarding the issue:

The authentication is completely the same as long as SabTab is using the API correctly.

It should be making calls like http://localhost:8080/sabnzbd/api?ma_username=U...

PLEASE update...

The user/pass authentication is completely busted with the upcoming release of SAB.

Your wonderful script is now crippled :(

Broken now for me too, just upgraded from 0.4.3 to 0.5.0 beta6.

For as long there is no update, there is a workaround:
Disable username and password for SAB.

Yarbles knows about the problem now and is working on it.
