after thinking about it, i will try and take over AE extras,

but due the the bad HTML coding by AE it will make it hard to get all the features working on the new layout....

so i ask do we really need it to run on the new layout?
it will work on both one day but not any time soon.

so i support the removal of AEP from the main script, but will release a working copy to interact with AE Extras, don't expect update right away apart from the time bug fix i will do once i finish work later

Well, I think it will be better if you take some time and create a new script with the core script and the separate component scripts. Also the core script will only be available for the original AE layout but you can create some component scripts that will allow the core to run on the new layout.

i will do at some point... but i think a bug fix is needed first...
