There are several user-editable options at the top of this script, and they are all documented in the source code. You can change some of the "true"s to "false" to change the behaviour of the script:

showTagsOnPostScreen = true,
// TRUE means tags are displayed by default when posting a new item

showAbstractOnPostScreen = true,
// TRUE means the abstract is displayed by default when posting a new item

showMoreMenu = true,
// TRUE means that five commonly-used menu items are added to the top menu bar

removeRedundantMyCopyLinks = true,
// TRUE means that redundant "my copy" links will be removed from display

showDetailsInLibrary = true,
// TRUE means that items will be shown with all detail in "My Library"

As a tangential post (my trademark!) have you ever tried out this script --> http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/3069 I haven't, but apparently it makes linking up local PDFs possible. I should probably do that now and include it in the enhancements thread if it works.

Oh and I wrote (*coughcopiedcough*) this script --> http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/49771 a while back. It checks a couple boxes (make article private, rights-to-pdf) in the posting window. If you put it in your toolkit, maybe I can delete it altogether. :)
