with big mode selected standard def videos are displayed correctly, but HQ and HD aren't. the width seems right, but the height remains at the default youtube value.
so it makes the vid abnormally thin and stretched out.

is there anyway I could fix this?

i'm getting a similar issue, the width of the player is wide but the height is still the same as the default. however instead of stretching the video it just makes it smaller and pillarboxes it, with black bars to the left and right. here is the debug string,

I think YouTube updated something. I get the same thing. The width is right, but the height isn't. Fit to window works, though.

It's a change at Youtube's end, since I can reproduce the odd resizing without the script being active:

Visit any youtube video and add "&fmt=18" at the end of the URL (the script should be disabled, obviously). Disable and then re-enable HQ
on the video and it will be stretched horizontally but not vertically.

Is it possible for the script to fix this, or is it only fixable by youtube?

You're right. The HQ videos are stretched like that and the normal quality videos are small. The HD videos still have the same "bigMode"
resolution, but when the script is enabled, they get stretched like the HQ videos.

It seems that HQ videos that have "super hq flv" available get stretched normally. Not true for videos that have both HD and super hq flv, though.

I actually prefer the old BigMode. I was using 1.1.3 last night for a few vids and ended up disabling BigMode becuase it's TOO BIG now. For my 15.4" 1280x800 laptop screen there's effectively no difference between BigMode and Fit for a bunch of vids. Plus, there's a wide range of actual quality for HQ vids (some are old VHS tapes digitized for youtube) and a lot of them look bad when they're too big.

I like the old BigMode so I reverted to 1.1.2.

Could you add a new "MediumMode" that's exactly the same as the old BigMode, so that everyone's happy?

I realy dont want to complain but is it possible to have bigmode working like in the previous versions so it only goes extra big when the video is HD.
atm the things goes big even tough the video is nothing or just HQ wich make it look bad since they were not intended to show at that seize.
exept that, good work on the constant updates.
