Annoyances with this script

Why does the css of the whole page jump 10 to 20 pixels or more to the right if your not using the wide feature of this script?? And that sideways scrollbar that keeps showing up at the bottom is annoying me!! The only feature I am using in this script is the fixed top bar. |

I tried to recreate what you described and I was unable to do so. I'm not sure what you mean when you said the page jumps 20 pixels. I set mine to only fix the top bar also and couldn't get what you said. Maybe you can describe what the issue is better? About the horizontal scroll bar, that shouldn't have anything to do with the script, it's part of the browser, and unless there's something far off the right side of the page it shouldn't show unless your resolution is too small for even the page. I shrunk the size of my window and I don't get a scroll bar until I reach the size of the page content. Are you sure the bar is from the script? Are you running any other facebook scripts? |

It's definitely an issue related to your script. Look at your facebook homepage without your script disabled....Make note of the placement of where everything is..... Now enable your script, And it's like the left margin just got bigger. And as for the horizontal scroll bar, It don't appear on the page until the cursor is moved over the css, which is shifted to the right. I removed some of the code from your script in greasemonkey and eliminated the bottom scroll bar, but could not eliminate it and keep the fixed top menubar. I was using my laptop which only has a 15" screen when I was doing all this also. If the css wasn't shifted to the right it would solve the scroll bar issue as well. |

Are you talking about on the home page PRIOR to signing in, or after signing in? I know the script has a bug on the very first page before signing in and it just shirts some of the page up but it wasn't really a big deal i didnt think, because i stay signed in all the time. But is this the problem your speaking of? (and yes it does have to do with the fixed bar option.) |
