Cheating or using automated command? For me there is a huge diference. Cheating is altering the stats in any way, exploiting a flaw to get more than what is normally avaible. Using automated commands isnt cheating, it's progress, a legitimate way to do stuff automatically and increase speed of manual commands such as inviting, questing, attacking, banking, etc. Most of commands can be typed manually in a browser anyway. Why writing a letter when I can send a e-mail? Why walking to the corner market when I can use a bike? You get the point ^^.

from google: define:cheating
Cheating in video games involves a player of a video game creating an advantage beyond the bounds of normal gameplay, usually to make the game easier. Cheats include advantages such as invulnerability ("God mode") or an infinite amount of some resource such as ammunition. ...

:P
The script does give an advantage as you have a robot that unfailingly does what you want without your attention. However normal humans don't have that ability, only few people achieve that with dedication and perseverance. It is those few that feel cheated when their accomplishments aren't recognized.
Bots have always been considered cheating, any kind of automation not provided in game is thought of as cheating, but nowadays people are used to it and accept it as normal or just as skipping the boring parts :).

Personally, I always say computers should do what they can, and only let us do things when they can't do it :). I am the lazy kind.

Why sending a written letter when I can send a e-mail?
Why going to the corner market by foot when I can use a bike?
Why heating my food in the oven when I can use a microwave?
Why repeat 500 times the same boring command when I can use a computer to do it for me?

It's progress, period.
