Slowing down FB!

The last couple of days I've noticed Facebook hanging or taking forever to refresh. Wondering if it was simply a slow connection, I tried from my iPhone - no problem. I opened up IE and tried that - also no problem. I created a new Firefox profile to be sure I didn't have a corrupt profile or anything and FB ran fine until I reinstalled Facebook Purity - now it is slow again and takes forever to load a page. Disabling Facebook Purity in Greasemonkey resolves the issue. This didn't used to be the case - has there been a change on the FB side that isn't sitting well with this script? |

lol my facebook won't even load anymore. it said that it was hiding 4109 app things so i'm guessing facebook changed something again. i kept getting an error that said something about a script stopped running and that i could either continue or stop the script. neither option did any good because the box immediately popped up again, preventing me from using firefox at all. i actually had to use IE to check my email just now. : / |

Turns out my issue was the Skype Firefox plugin. Uninstalled that and things worked again as they should. However at some point this morning the script has stopped blocking things...I'm now getting a multitude of annoying Mafia wars posts on my newsfeed...with a note up the top right saying "FB Purity blocked: 0 app msgs [ Show ]" ....arrgghhh |
