Here is a FAQ on how the Update Check works: Q: Where are the YouTube Enhancer Update Check Options ? A: Open the Option Menu and click on the YouTube Enhancer General Options (green box). When you got into the YouTube Enhancer General Options popup, press the "Others" tab and scroll down to the "YouTube Enhancer Updater" options. Q: How to disable it ? A: Change "Check YouTube Enhancer update every..." to "0" Q: How to check every X days ? A: Change "Check YouTube Enhancer update every..." to "X days" (up to 30 days) Q: I want the "Visit Install Page" to open in a new tab. (by default for GM since 2010-06-03) A: Change "Visit link mode" to "In new tab" Q: I got an update popup on every new page i open. A: To stop the popup, you must visit the script homepage, or press on the "Visit Install Page" link, or press on the "Later" link. Q: What clicking on the "Visit Install Page" link do ? A: It close the popup and tell the script that you'll make an update (it don't warn you anymore until there a new update) and redirect you to the script home page. Q: What clicking on the "Later" link do ? A: It close the popup and tell the script that you don't want to be asked for the update until 1 or 2 days. Q: What clicking on the "X" link do ? A: It only close the popup, so opening a new page will continue to warn you about the update. Q: What the script do when i visit his homepage ? A: When you visit the script homepage, it tell that you'll make an update (it don't warn you anymore until there a new update). (Note: works only if http*://userscripts.org/scripts/show/33042* is in the GM included pages). |
