The dropdown menus on the top navbar don't look the way they should when this script is enabled. Hopefully this script will be updated soon.

Hi Dink, I don't notice any difference with the script enabled/disabled. Could you post a link to a screenshot? Are you using any other scripts that might be causing it?

hello this is a screenshot to the settings dropdown menu b4 and after setting the class attribute "fb_menu_item_link" for the link

Oh ok, I thought you were talking about the all the drop down menus, not just the link for Facebook Fixer's settings. I have fixed this already and it will be included in the next release.

I was referring to every drop-down menu. For example, if you was to hover over friends the menu don't stay visible so you can move to the bottom and select "find friends". It has this weird behavior on every drop-down menu.

I am also experiencing a more recent issue. my homepage is scrolled all the way to the top, but it is covering the bottom portion of the top navbar. I am experiencing this on every page - homepage, inbox, profiles, etc. See link for screenshot.

I just noticed that the bottom bar where it shows "Older Posts" is discolored like the top bar also. The discoloration of the top bar don't bother me as much as it being in the wrong place.

The entire top bar is not working correctly for me on FF 3.5.2 when I have keep it on top when scrolling.

I just caught that also... When it's kept on top when scrolling it looks like my screenshot. If it scrolls with the page it looks normal...except for being discolored. It's almost like if you have it locked to the top of the page it removes the spacing on the top as if it was not there at all.

Also Vaughan, The other facebook scripts that I am using do not have any effect on my homepage. Enabling/Disabling Facebook fixer causes/resolves the issues mentioned. I can't do facebook without this script!!!

I also noticed this starting today. The top blue bar has disappeared. The "Facebook" at the left end of the looks like it's white with a blue border. All of the lettering on the drop downs is white with a green border until you hover over it and then it's the normal white lettering on a blue box background. Another thing I've noticed in the last few days, maybe a week or so, is that the drop down for friends disappears behind the status bar. If I move the page up so that the status bar is above the blue menu bar, it's fine. It's like the status bar is on a separate z plane above everything else.

I've discovered a workaround for the top navbar until Vaughan can get things sorted out. In Facebook Fixer settings, set it to let the top bar scroll with the rest of the page, Then install "Facebook Alter"

http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/49735

It has configurable options inside the greasemonkey script itself. Set "toggle width" and "toggle menu" to "0" and it will give you the fixed navbar the same as facebook fixer did before....

And if you are using the new beta of Facebook Fixer then your nav menu has a fixed position as well!!

Yeah, it seems that Facebook has made some changes to the top menu today so I'll work on fixing that for the next release. Dink, I'll try to work on the problem you originally reported also.

Hi Vaughan -- first and foremost, THANK YOU for an essential script that I can barely live without. Happy to see that the top bar fixed position has been reported and that you'll fix. Would also like to echo the request on another page for a delay before pictures pop up.

I don't yet see it reported here -- but the "rounding profile pics" functionality also seems broken, since I still have that selected yet am seeing square images.

Again, THANK YOU.

I've fixed a couple problems related to the top menu. Just to make sure, it only has problems when you have it set to "Keep the top menu bar on the screen, even after scrolling down", right?

@JohnnyGee, the option to show rounded profile pictures actually worked in reverse. Facebook had started rounded the pictures by default, so un-checking that option in Facebook Fixer would disable their change. Now they seem to have undone it, so I'll look into it, but I'm not sure if there's anything I can do.

Facebook really seems to be making a lot of changes right now...

Yes, from what I've experienced, If you let the top bar scroll with the rest of the page then it is fine. It gets messed up when you have it in a fixed position and also the rest of the page is also intruding on that space even when you are scrolled all the way up.

Yeah, just want to second this. On both of our MacBooks, the top menu is broken.
For instance: http://yfrog.com/5zscreenshot20090829at111p
(that is at the top of the main page)

The top menu should no longer have parts of it "invisible".

If anybody is having problems with the menu appearing behind elements on the page its probably not Facebook Fixer since it doesn't change the "level" of the menu, so please disable any other scripts/extensions/styles that might be causing it before reporting.

There's two little problems on the new navbar that should be fixed especially the first one:

- The possibility to add some transparency to the top bar, is a good think and the transparency on hover make it better, but the reason it's useful it's because it let the user see more of it's workspace.

Well now the bar is too large, something in the height has been changed, it takes too much place and doesn't feel right

- The Facebook Fixer option indent has been fixed, but a little thing that could be useful is when hovering a button, its keeps the same transparency has the hovered bar.

Wow in fact, this is really bothering me, know a quick fix for the script ?
Great implementation anyways

Edit: This is due to the recent facebook update I didn't noticed. Well one request I could do is: reduce the height of the navbar a little to make it thinner would be a great thing

I just wanted to report that the problem I experienced with the dropdowns on the blue bar "hiding" behind the status box has been resolved. Hovering over the "Friends" menu item now displays all links on a level above the status box. Strangely enough, my wife never experienced this problem on her computer, but I have a lot more Firefox add-ons than she does.

I really like the new transparency settings. I'd still like to see an option to have the filter list expanded. ;)

Facebook itself has an option to expand the filter list. Click the "more" link at the bottom....
