When I first joined this group it was with the intent that I wanted to learn more about writing cross-browser userscripts. I'm disappointed with the name change of this group because I believe there should be a central community on US.o. where scriptwrights can go to get help with making their scripts support multiple browsers. If we start dividing ourselves into browser camps we dilute our message. I'm the idiot that started the Google Chrome group in the first place so I vote the name be changed back to "Cross-browser userscripts".

Since lucideer appears to want to keep his group Opera only, I've decided to make my Google Chrome group (re-named of course) a place for cross-brower users script discussion, development, and collaboration. My first cross-browser task is implementing a variant of GM_config that will work in browsers that support localStorage (currently Google Chrome and Safari).
