Hi, please could you explain what the options at the bottom of TCLC Preferences do.

I'm baffled by redirector and linkify in particular.

e.g.

What is TCLC trying to tell me here: http://i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/safdgas...

Realise these may be dumb questions, but I'd really appreciate it if you could explain, and let me know.

Thanks.

COOLU5ername,

The Linkify routine is the part of the script that changes plain text URLs into clickable links. This is one of the first Greasemonkey functions that was distributed and copied by a lot of scriptwrights. You can just leave it checked. Some others have different linkifier Add-Ons they prefer but there really isn't much difference as they pretty much all stem from the same codebase.
..
The redirector option is specifically designed for The Cavern Forum's redirector list. Redirector links have been disallowed. Redirectors are links that seem to point to hosts like Rapidshare or Megaupload, but actually redirect through another site. These are often employed to steal user credentials. I would recommend just unchecking this if you are off The Cavern Forum as it sometimes matches on non-redirector links.
..
Your questions are not dumb in any way.

Thanks...sorry for the delayed response by me...IRL stuff has been keeping me busy.

Take care, and thanks again for your prompt answers. :)
