View Public Photos on Private Profile?

Can we get something like this script added? http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/11218 It doesn't seem very difficult but I know nothing about coding lol. |

Hi helloman142, I don't think its possible to replicate the features of that script since, as it's author points out, Facebook has fixed the bugs that allowed that script to work. If you know of a way to achieve those things with the current version of Facebook, let me know and I will work on adding it to the script. |

It's possible to view the photos by having a friend tagged in them and clicking on the link when the album appears in the highlights section of the news feed or by manually typing out the url. I'm not talking about actual private photos just photos that have been set to "everyone" or "friends of friends" |

Yes, it is possible to view an entire album if your friend has been tagged in one of it's photos, but if I understand the purpose of the other script it was to list all the pictures somebody has been tagged in (if security options permit it). It seems like Facebook has stopped that from being possible.

Ok if person A is tagged in a photo in person B's album, i am able to view the entire album even if i am not person B's friend. What i'm looking for is to be able to visit person B's profile and be able to see a list of their albums that i can view even if the profile itself is set to private. |

Ok, I understand what you're saying, but I'm not sure if it is possible. As far as I know Facebook no longer lets you access any pages listing photos if you cannot see their profile. If I discover a way to achieve this, I will add the feature. |

One very long winded and bandwidth intensive way to implement this would be to have a script go through all of your friends photos and gather the links to all the other albums, make a list, and then match them up with profile names. Then have it create a new "tab" (made to look the same as a regular FB photos page) when you visit their profile from the "index" it created of the photos you can see via your friends' accounts. The generation of the data would take time however and the index would need to be updated fairly often to keep up with changes. |
