Hi there, this script is exactly what I need, as Flash on OS X totally sucks ass.

Hi, unfortunately, I don't have access to a Mac, so I don't know how to fix this. But if anybody knows how to fix it and is willing to send me a patch, I'll update this script. Arne |

Hi, I made it work with safari and greasekit and the video now it works very well with my quicktime X embedded player :) Here is the code (mac users can use it as-is) :
Changes :
I unfortunately didn't had the chance test it back on Firefox and Opera. Cheers, Samuel |

Hi Samuel, thanks, I tested the script with your changes on Firefox and Opera, and it still works. Just a question before I update the script: Does scale="tofit" really do what we want? I can't test this since I don't have a Mac, but according to this page, it's probably better to use scale="aspect": "SCALE is either TOFIT, ASPECT or a number. By default the value of SCALE is 1. If set to TOFIT, the movie is scaled to fit the embedded box as specified by the HEIGHT and WIDTH attributes. If this is set to ASPECT, the movie will scale to fit the embedded box while maintaining the aspect ratio." Arne EDIT: BTW, was this script mentioned on some larger website? It had about 3,500 downloads in total until yesterday, and then suddenly 2,000 new downloads just this Sunday! |

I found your script on reddit. http://www.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/9m1wi/y... The scale=tofit is the only way I found to have the video scale the size of the player (like the youtube player). |

Ok, I updated the script. Thanks for the patch. |
