nope, that dont work either. in fact i went to a different computer, different account, different everything, and manually typed in a whole phrase into the toolbar.... and it still called me a cheat! (oh, and no mob wars script running at the time either)
|
![]() ![]() |
oh, and as a side note guys, do you think it's wise posting userid and session numbers? edit them out now if i were you! |
![]() ![]() |
Me got the msg too!, I think mobwars is blacklisting the user account, so even from a different computer,if you logged in as the blacklisted account, it automatically discredit your search. I guess we have to wait several days and lose 3, 6, 9, or even more until we're out of the list (hopefully!) And those who have posted your userids will probably have MW developer blacklist you forever for using this script! Busted! haha.. |

Kemm - it was a different mob wars account too. i even used a different ip address. |
![]() ![]() |
well that's pretty beat :-/ |
![]() ![]() |
oopss.. sorry didn't catch that one, Shakey. Well, did you tried sending mail to them? I thought I wanted to send, but then I'm afraid (because I'm guilty!) :) |

It says we'll be blocked for a few days. It needs updating then. tbh, its not hard to invent questions. Its just hard to invent 20 million of the buggers. Another option is to search and then get it to click the first link. Is that possible? That should solve the problem. EDIT: Read the thing:

even genuine searches are not working |

maybe they just mass blocking / suspect everybody to be guilty, and those who email them will be cleared.. another consipiracy theory.... What do you think? should we contact them? |
![]() ![]() |
I emailed them yesterday and had no response yet - same problem. Doesn't matter which computer I use, always get same response whether I use script or natural search |
![]() ![]() |
Andy, did you use the script when the message appears? Shakey, did you notice it is the same information is out when you change computer acc etc, or is it a different set of information? |
![]() ![]() |
I tried both ways, initially when I changed computers I did a natural search and got the same error, then tried the script and got it again. |
![]() ![]() |
Natural search won't work. I'm getting credit for them again. You need about 3 days of natural searches. I'ma avoid using the script until we get an update. Anyone good at coding? :P |
![]() ![]() |
I've got a good version of it myself, I changed it so that it randomly clicks 1-3 of the page links, anywhere in the page. Has a random timer of 1.5 - 4 seconds between searches. adds one of the following to the beginning of the search 80 % of the time, randomly chosen. "Def. of" "definition of" "how to" "why does" and puts a ? at the end. If anyone PM's me I might send it to them, but you have to do three days of ACTUAL searching first. |

That's great news! Thanks a lot samm! |
![]() ![]() |
I've tried samm's suggestion and it worked. I've waited 2-3 days (didn't do any search at all) and start search 'naturally' after 3 days. I put more like a question into the search box and based on my observation, you don't have to click any results on the link to get points. I did put once a question that doesn't make sense and the thing pops up. Goodluck guys! |

I don't use this script, never have, and I still can't perform searches. Everything I search on generates their error. I've emailed them at least 3 times and not a word back. Funny thing is that NO ONE seems to be complaining about this on the MW message board (the one on facebook). |
![]() ![]() |
phazoni, perhaps you should refrain from searching for 2 or 3 days and try putting a question-like search after 3 days, see how that goes. maybe it's going to take several attempts before you it registers. try that & let me know how it goes. |

It gave me the same message when doing "natural" searches and I found that I had to start clicking links and going to pages from the search. By doing this a few times it cleared up and started giving me points again without having to wait days. It will allow me to do one word searches as long as I follow at least one link before entering another search. Hope this helps, as always, your mileage may vary. Samm547, any chance of posting your version? |

the script is now available here http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/54848 after testing I made the following changes, replaced 1-4 with 10 seconds removed the clicking portion as that was not necessary If anyone has more problems with it please let me know, and I'll get them fixed as soon as possible. |

I posted this to the discussion on Samm547's script but thought I would put it here too until people get to using those discussion pages. It seems GM does not recognize this script for installation, it does not come up for installation when you click the install button just moves you to the text file (and before anybody says it, yes GM was on). If I try to manually install the script it gives me an "object expected" error at line 197, char 2. Hope we can get this going, manual entries are a pain. |
