Yeah, it stopped working for me, too. I tried reinstalling it, I even reinstalled my OS 2 times, and it still doesn't seem to work. Which kinda sucks because it probably is the most important thing I have on my PC. :(

Well, since I use my PC mostly as a media center. :D

Strange thing is that the "Sort by Rating" script still works.

Hi all!

This is strange... the script works for me without a problem: http://www.imdb.com/Sections/Awards/Academy_Awa...

Please be sure that:

- you're logged in on IMDB
- you used that account to give movie ratings and/or add movies to your "My Movies" lists
- you're using the latest version of the script
- Greasemonkey is enabled on Firefox
- the script is enabled on Greasemonkey

If *all* of the above is true, check if there are any errors on the Error Console and post them here:

- open the TOP 250 page: http://www.imdb.com/chart/top
- open the Error Console with Ctrl+Shift+J (or use the menu Tools -> Error Console)
- clear all messages
- click the Errors button
- reload the TOP 250 page
- copy all error messages and post them here

Please inform the versions of your OS, browser and Greasemonkey.

This can be a problem on the IMDB site (or proxy, if you are using one), which might format a webpage (or the links) in a different way, according to your country, configuration or any other reason. To verify this, please:

- open http://www.imdb.com/chart/top (or any other page where a title should be highlighted)
- verify on your URL bar if the address was changed to something else - if it was, copy and post it here
- inform the link that was not highlighted. To do this, right-click the link and select "Copy Link Location"

Well, after a couple of minutes trying different pages on IMDB I found out that they made a small change on some of them (but not all) that prevented the script from working. I fixed that and some other small things, so please install the newest version and tell me if everything is OK now.

And thanks for bringing the problem to my attention! :-)

Thank you!

Thats got it working again. You were right. They changed something on some of the pages. It was working on some but not others. It's now working on all.

Thanks again for a really great script! A must-have!

This is the error that appears in the console:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/ricardo_ferreira/2... "My Movies" enhancer: http://www.imdb.com/chart/top
User not logged in (or couldn't get user info)

I am logged in, tried the script on both the last version of Firefox and 3.0.14.
It's not working. :(

It is also not working for me either. IMDB did a page redesign and I'm sure that's the problem. We'll just have to wait for Ric to tweak it.

The problem was due to another IMDB change in the pages. Unfortunately, this is a bit like a cat-and-mouse thing... every time they change something the script might stop working and I'll have to find a workaround. On the bright side, they don't change things quite often, and I already fixed the problem. :) Please reinstall the script and see if it works for you again (it must).

Thank you, but the version of the script on this site still seems to be the one from August. ^_^

I'm sure I have changed the source! Oh well, I changed it again anyway... thanks for noticing the problem, and let me know if you have any other trouble.
