Only 400 friends remembered...

First, thank you for fixing the script for those of us with vanity IDs - it correctly grabs the friends list now. But I noticed that only 400 of my friends are tracked. I verified this 2 ways:
I have 500+ friends, so not all of them are tracked. Cheers - Steven |

Ok then. I don't really know how to test this issue to be honest. I'll have a look at it at some point during the week. |

seriously? I have 1500 friends so you're saying it isn't going to work with >400? I know it worked on my wife's page but doesn't seem to be doing anything on mine. |

If you have over 400 friends, only the first 400 (alphabetized by first name of all things!) are remembered. If you add a friend who appears in the first 400, the 400th friend is shown as no longer a friend (since it is pushed off to place 401). |

.. makes sense. I've had a half-arsed attempt at finding someone with 400 friends who might let me play on their Facebook account for a bit, and hopefully I should find someone at some point. I will look at fixing this as soon as I can ... either that or I should gain another couple of hundred friends myself... |

hi znerp! I have more than 400 friends also and am willing to test out your script. Have tried some tinkering and snooping around on my Safari browser, and I found that there is another php that facebook uses for large quantities of friends. www.facebook.com/friends/ajax/superfriends.php?... gives me a list of all the userids (numerals only) and is able to give more than 400 friends at a shot. Hope this helps! |
