Nice enough script but doesn't do anything about apps.facebook.com links.

As Facebbok Apps includes third-party code and domains you will need to add security exceptions for each app to use SSL ther...

Thanks for the comment...

Now supports encrypted Facebook apps via HTTPS, probably the initial GET is not encrypted, but from there on all the requests are encrypted if they target domain apps.facebook.com !!

not an issue, just wondering why not on pictures and videos?

Some spooky behavior on Chromium / Mac:

Unlike other SSL redirectors, this one doesn't trip the local Keychain's password entry. The URL and cert looks okay, and yet if it is this extension takes me to the SSL page, the Keychain's not going to work.

Then, typing into the password field shows each character as I type it—not as bullets! Sending the password then yields an "incorrect password" error from Facebook, leading me for a moment to wonder what was actually sent to Facebook, or elsewhere...

Thank you for your efforts!

However I'm sorry to say this script is of very little use. It indeed rewrites URLs to https, however it does this only AFTER every page has already loaded unencrypted once. It makes no use if the page goes plain unencrypted at first!

This other pair of scripts, instead, seems to convert every link directly to https *BEFORE* loading the page, not after. So while browsing on Facebook you always stay within a SSL protected tunnel. http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/24701

Please, if you can, correct this major bug!

John it is the case the page is fetchet unencrypted but only the first time before your login! after you are logged in only HTTPS are showed and traversed (for links supported: photos, apps, profiles...)!
