I have noticed that on occasion when money is won during fights, it is often lost again when the script continues to fight (and the opponent scores a critical hit).
So my suggestion would be if the money won is above the threshold amount, visit the bank first, then continue to fight, not the other way around.
Observed in Mafia Wars, but I'm sure applies to other games as well.

The current priorities are...

Jobs (missions, quests, etc.)
Hospital (need hospital before fighting)
Fight
Bank

I think I put bank last cause if you go to the hospital and you have no money, some games might not heal you.

If you want to change this right click on the greasemonkey icon and pick "manage..." > edit zynga games > search for the "checkpage" function and cut and paste this line up to before fight...
