Hello,
I'd like to know how I could adjust all sites/forums to The Cavern Links Checker ?
Like the old version of this script please =)

Thank you a lot !

Or can I disable auto-update window in order to keep version "Jun 8, 2009 04:15" ?
Please !

spider1163,
I'm not sure exactly what you mean in your 1st post. The script should work just fine with any sites/forums. Please let me know a little more detail and I'll do what I can to help you out.
..
Your second post gives me an idea for a new preference setting to disable any code updates. I will add this to the to-do list but it won't affect older versions of the script. There's no easy way to disable the update, but you can hit the cancel button, I think. It only pops up once/day.
..
Thanks and keep me updated.
yah.

Thank you for your answer !
(And sorry for my bad English, I'm French.)

In my 1st post I'd like that the script works with ALL the websites I visit;

Wow there is a "TCLC Preferences user script command", I enable all hosts and it seems to work now (with this site for example:)

I'm so sorry, I had to active the preferences first.

Thank you for your script, and sorry for wasting your time !

PS: Can you add a "check" for Sharebee links ?

Spider1163,

No problem at all, mate. The more input I receive the better I can tune the script. Also, your English is much better than my French!
..
For Sharebee, can you post a few good and bad links so I could see what it would take to setup a new host. I have seen these before, but it's been a while.

spider1163,

ShareBee is a re-director, in essence. It does not directly link to the files at the hosts. It has been a driving philosophy that I not support re-directors. They are potentially dangerous to people who use them to access links. They often employ man-in-the-middle type exploits to steal account credentials. One can never be absolutely sure what's going on at a re-director. It's much safer to be cautious and just avoid them.
..
I will not be adding ShareBee as an official, default host. However, I will help you out once the feature has been added to design your own additional host checks. Version 2.1 of the script, which is in the works now, will allow you to do this. When that happens, you can add ShareBee as a host. I'll aid you in setting it up.
..
Thanks,
yah.
