Hi,
It seems, on sites with lots of Rapidshare links, only a small portion of them get checked.

As seen here : http://www.warez-bb.org/viewtopic.php?t=2302912

It also seems that disabling RS checking only works some of the time. I disabled RS & MU in TCLC and allowed Rapidshare Link Checker to check those links... However RS is still sometimes being checked by TCLC. I can't yet seem to find any discernible reason why this is happening.

konijntje,
There are a handful of rapidshare servers out there that do NOT allow link checks. We've encountered these annoyances from time to time at The Cavern and there is no rhyme nor reason to what the posts have in common beyond a few items. 1: The uncheckable links seem to be documentaries. 2: The links seem to be posted in large numbers and originate outside the US, often in Eastern Europe.
..
The script uses rapidshare to check links in bulk. There seems to be no limit to the amount of links the rapidshare servers will check (within reason). I've seen several hundred check in only a few seconds. When nothing is returned, it makes me think there was something special about the way the files were uploaded to rapidshare. Maybe they got stored on a certain group of servers that are unreachable by rapidshare's internal link check routine. My script just communicated with theirs. Without doing this, you risk being banned when you check a certain number (200 or so) links in a short period of time.
..
Anyway, the warez-bb page you posted has the same links we've seen elsewhere. Unfortunately, there is no way (as of yet) to perform the checks on those files. They're just out of reach.
..
I do appreciate the link and I would be interested if you find any other links that do not check. I will always check into them, even if there is nothing I can do.

CP,
I have checked into the problem you've raised. It is a bug for sure. I'll squash it and release the fix as soon as I can.
..
Thanks, I'll see if I can tack the MV link check in there for you.
yah.
