Jun 7, 2009 9:45am Skywave Script's Author	How often does this happen? Does it happen on the first/second gift, or after a few has already been sent? The [object HTMLParagraphElement] I have seen before, and that is related to other messages coming through at the time that the gifts was sent (example: someone else sending you a gift). This is a known issue, and I have not yet had time ti resolve this. Please let me know if this happens again. A

What browser are you using, and what are you doing at the time. I would like to kick this bug in the b-hind! :D A

Jun 13, 2009 3:19am Malakar User	I am getting the same error also. It just started for me. Yesterday I gifted many things no problem. Today no matter what I try to gift I get the error. I am using Firefox 3.0.11 Here is the detailed error message. Now I am also having the same problem it doesn't matter how many or how few I am trying to gift I always get [object XPCNativeWrapper [object HTMLParagraphElement]] it seems to always go to the page with the list of clan on it first the game does the same thing with the auto refresh as well

I think it's a communication issue with either Zynga or Facebook, because I am getting other kinds of errors using other apps as well. Unless it's having probs with another add-on. Anyways, just so you know - I tried to use the giftSpammer with only 1 window open, but the problem still existed. Then I upgraded Firefox to 3.0.11, but I still have the same issue. I have the following add-ons installed, in case we all have one of them as a common factor...? Adblock Plus 1.0.2 Automatic Save Folder 0.9.2 Foxclocks 2.5.33 IE tab 1.520090525 Microsoft .NET Framework assistant 1.0 Personas for Firefox 1.2 Shareaholic 1.8.1 Xmarks 3.1.0

Jun 14, 2009 4:54pm FacebookMonkey User	i believe the problem lies in the fact they updated the game to be able to upgrade your abilities, to master them like you do missions, and its probably changed the names or code somewhere in the game, for example i just upgraded fangs to lvl 1 master and it becomes "Better Fangs" with a power 4 and defense of 6, and has a -100 upkeep costs 500 each...i realized i had 200 of them that i was going to mass send someone, and so i decided to do that..when i went to send, i get that error from OP, same as everyone else...so just a heads up, that has to be the reason i would imangine

Jun 16, 2009 1:50am Glynn User	I get the feeling Facebook intentionally changed the script to disable the gifting and prevent getting pyros. They also disabled or altered several other Greasemonkey applications I use, like adding friends. I can still do it but it is more complicated than it used to be. I sure hope someone comes up with a new script for the gifting because the one from Greasemonkey rocked!

Jun 16, 2009 12:29pm elektroda User	Interested part is that you are still able to manually send gift using mouse button (open in new tab) for xx times except you have to close all those tabs instead. I'm not familiar with scripting but maybe this could be suppressed in same tab or... I just hope this script would be on it's feet very soon. :)

Jun 16, 2009 5:16pm Malakar User	Yep Facebook Disabled the F5 and or Reload feature for Gifting. A manual way using Firefox CRTL +T opens new Tab so you can cut and past the gift link there using a series of commands. Here is the manual way to do it.... Gift one Item to your friend. Copy the Link. CTRL+T opens new tab. CTRL+V past link above. Hit Enter on Keyboard. This Gifts one Item. Rinse and Repeat you can get pretty fast this way. However I hope they fix this script this script worked great until Facebook disabled the F5 or Reload functionality!!!!

(1) Visit the person's gift link so that a list of abilities to be gifted are shown. (2) Drag the gift box icon by clicking & holding down the RIGHT mouse button, then let go of it on your Bookmarks Toolbar to create a shortcut to it there, assuming you have yours displayed in Firefox. (Firefox menu > View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar) (3) Open a couple of tabs in the same window, depending on the slowness of the net/facebook, about 7 tabs is ideal. (4) In each tab, click the shortcut you made on the Bookmarks toolbar. (5) By the time you go from tab 1 to tab 7, the 1st tab should be done sending the info, whether or not the page has completed loading or not. Repeat step 4 for all of the tabs. This is faster than trying to right-click the gift box & open it in a new window, and is faster than copy-pasting. Rinse. Repeat.

Jun 18, 2009 11:05pm Lord_Fandomar Scriptwright	That's pretty good. What I do is, I put my cursor over the gift I want to send and press my scroll button on my mouse to send. I do this about 10-16 times(IF I am counting) then right click on the tab I am in and select close other tabs and repeat.

Jun 24, 2009 12:05am Malakar User	Skywave. Can you change the resend rate to 10s (10000) I believe you have it set to 5s currently? Regardless it still times out randomly. One time it time out on me at sending 79 items. After I refreshed I was able to send 4 more then it timed out and failed again. Thanks, Malakar

Jun 24, 2009 5:01am Skywave Script's Author	Malakar Actually the resend rate is set to 0.5 seconds. Feel free to change the spamDelay variable to 10000. All that will do though is wait 10 seconds from the time of receiving an answer to the time the next one sends. A.

Jun 28, 2009 10:03pm johnat101 User	hi there i just downloaded this scrip hoping it would speed things up but nothing at all is happening . i know zynga just changed a few things and this may be the problem or it might be just me being thick i went to clan, selected a clan member to gift, the gift page came up, selected git and sent it ? was something else supposed to be there for me to click?
