Not sure how to use this...

I'm trying to figure out how to use this ... My goal is to create an "embedded" link to a url... I'm fairly certain that your script will allow me to do that, however I'm not quite sure how to get it to work. I attempted to cut/paste the entire contents of the source code into Gmail's Settings -- Signature window.. but I keep getting an error message indicating that my signauture "cannot be longer than 2000 chars" ... I tried removing all the "intructions" at the beginning but it is still too large. Can you please tell me exactly what portion of the script I need to copy into the window ? I also tried to use MJB's "Gmail - Insert HTML Signature 2.1.1" but it does not seem to allow you to actually embed the url into text. |

Brad - You need to insert the code into your Greasemonkey application. Please consult the instructions at http://greasemonkey.mozdev.org/using.html on how to do that. Only your unformatted signature goes into the settings block. |
