Hi,
When I open a youtube link, the video starts playing for a second or 2 then stops and the pointer goes back to the start. Then the faded red line reaches the end and that is it.

Is it possible to make this script work in Google Chrome 2.0?

Thanks.

That is very strange... I changed my code a bit though. Try updating to the latest version, and make sure only one version of my script is running.

I don't have Google Chrome so I can't see what youre talking about ,sorry!

same here with the latest v0.98.6 (even though change log trying convince us it's v0.98.7, not sure what to believe ;))
Anyways, having exactly same issue, it starts playing, then stops. I've disabled all other scripts to be sure.

It seems something wrong with autobuffer feature. Turning it off seems to solve the problem.

Exactly, when I turn off the autobuffer options, the video works. This happens even in the latest version.
Also, why is the size of the video increased? It is larger than my screen's size now! I prefer old size which was larger than normal size but still smaller than screen.

When I mentioned Google Chrome 2.0, in that version, greasemonkey scripts can be used but some limitations are present as it is still in beta I guess. I thought it would be nice if the video is played in higher quality automatically in Chrome.

autobuffer is meant to do that... read the description of what it does and youll realize.

as for the video size being increased.. just turn off "true720p", sounds like the problem you're having.

Oh sorry, thanks a lot. If there any updates with regards to chrome in the future, please notify us.

I have managed to make the script work partially in Google Chrome 3.0.182.3 (latest):
Using this version of script: Mar 30, 2009 03:59
Placed in (Vista): C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\User Scripts
Using --enable-user-scripts flag in Chrome
The video size increases automatically but the user must press the HD or HQ button.
Loop works.</username>
