So, please please forgive me, as I am a TOTAL userscript newb, but I am lost. Basically, I have greasemonkey installed, but I'm lost in Kansas with Dorothy when it comes to getting this script to work its magic. I have created a list for MW, added all the pertinent people, but getting the two to work together, I straight suck at. Anyone willing to take me under their wing and show me the ropes? Today is my absolute first day with anything relating to Userscripts, and yes, I have tried to read everything I can! Sorry for the n00bness! |

So after you installed greasemonkey there should be a little monkey in the lower right corner of your firefox window, right clicking on the monkey will bring up the greasemonkey menu, and "User script Commands..." will contain the script commands I talk about, after the script is installed. If you have already made a friend list then all you need to do is run the two script settings commands, setting the friend list to the name of your MW list and then setting the message you want to send to people. After that you should simply be able to navigate to the locations I tell you to in the About section, click on the commands from the menu that I said and it should be as simple as that. |

RIGHT YOU ARE...in between helping my pregnant wife and taking a shot in the dark, I figured it out prior to your post, but your post assured me I was doing it properly!!!! I am 100% convinced your script is just "that easy", like you say it is!!! Fragger, YOU ROCK!!!!! |

After using the script, Facebook has flagged my account. Luckily, not blocked. I have something like 1526 FB friends and 1746 Mafia members. I have no idea how many messages were sent or attempted to be sent. I now get the following warning when trying to add a FB friend: ----------

There was no warning from your script. I aborted the script because it didn't respond or stop with the warning from FB. What would be nice is being able to set a limit for how many messages are sent. User definable number would be great! And possibly slow down the script too with a delay between each message (possibly user definable too). I believe FB notices the speed at which the messages are being sent. Just my perception and no proof there. By the way, I won't be able to respond until evening this Saturday evening, May 16th. Also ... I've already received 15 approvals from Mafia members becoming FB friends. Script worked well, impressively, but need to limit output and speed. Thanks. |

If you have the newest version installed it does detect the warning the very first time it comes up and goes no farther, also it any of the messages it is telling you that it will stop now it says the total number of people invited so far. I'll probably through a delay settings in here. |

These facebook warning can be avoided. Instead of issuing a friend request directly, if you go to facebook search and search for the friend and add there, FB does not see you as spamming. The think you know the person already and are adding a REAL friend. |
